Sugar Cookies Recipe

This sugar cookie recipe not only makes a yummy and delicious sugar cookie, it’s quick and easy. It’s sure to be a family favorite, and the kids can help make the sugar cookies too.

1/2 cup soft margarine
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1-1/2 cups flour

Blen the margarine and sugar together in a bowl. Beat it until it is smooth and has a fluffy texture. Next add egg, milk, vanilla, and mix the ingredient well. Add the salt, baking powder and flour. Blend well until the dough is smooth. Drop the mixture by small spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes, or until a nice gold brown.

If frosted sugar coookies are desired, let cool and frost with your favorite frosting.
